New hair

That's right, I have new hair. Ladies and gentleman, I am a blond. At least, partially. Here's my hair before adding the dye... aren't I hot?

Yeah you're thinking but there's not a picture... that's cause I'm sooooooooooo far from hot... lol

And here's after (Just after... my hair's still wet.)

Anyway, Adeana was over. We had a lot of fun. First, we ran some errands, the last of which being we stopped at the subway where she works and she made us subs.

And shopped for some clothes.
Then we came back to my house, where Adeana showed me that she really can read.

Wait... is that book upside down???? *laugh*
A little while later we see Adeana is seducing my dog...

But it's ok, they turn on her.

And last but not least... well this picture speaks for itself. Really.

Anyway, here's the last pic. It's my hair today, straightened and apparently blondish. *grin*

The Llama song!!!

Watch me bleed

This is a really cool... poem or something on the inside of my Hanson CD. It's... powerful.

For some, music is not just a pastime,
It's an undeniable fact of living,
A blissful slavery of mind, body, and soul.
To rise above the ashes of mediocrity is rare,
Yet the gift of song is freely handed out to anyone who cares to receive it,
Instantly shattering our daily drudgery.

The path to pursue more than the usual,
More than what is safe and known,
Is wrought with time-sharpened jagged blades that cut deep,
Blocking many from the road to something greater,
Beyond the stunted imagination of their peers.

Within the veils of the few,
Passion fills every sinew with a sweet unquenchable purpose,
Calming the fear of the treacherous paths.
Though each slice burns and bleeds,
Still they take each cut
And wear the scars with pride to signal their choice,
That undying pursuit of greater joy within every chord.

And so they say- Watch Me Bleed

Guess what? I have pictures...

Sorry, still riding the new digital camera high. Thought I'd post some more pictures. Let's see... first, Storm being cute....

Followed by Mattie being cute...

I got a digital camera!

That's right people! Now I can show you my knitting in seconds if I want to! This post is obviously a little picture heavy! :) So Let's see what should we start with.... Ok, first off, my loksins sock. Which was oh so heartlessly abandoned for my MS3... hey look it's Harry Potter!

And also the party lace scarf... also heartlessly abandoned...

And my new STR Little bunny foo foo... which I haven't even wound into a ball... for shame...

The MS3 it my handy dandy... er... basket.

Look! MS3. Unblocked....

Blocked....

Um... blocked... lol

Detail anyone?

And... a little bit more just cause we love it.

MS3 just got scary

Ok so I'm all excited this morning, get up and check my email to see what the theme for the mystery stole is. I went to the group and read all about it and I think swan lake is entirely appropriate. (It's especially good cause that means I won't be wrapping a dragon around my shoulders...) I was so happy about that, I didn't even bother to check out clue five. So then a little later I'm checking my email... and I see where it says "Don't panic" and I was like "Ok. That can not be good." So I don't panic and I go check it out and... short rows? SHORT ROWS? In lace. I can barely do short rows on a sock heel. In lace? That's got to be the scariest thing I've ever heard. I still need to discuss it with my associate (You know who you are) but I think I might be stopping at row 287 (I haven't gotten there yet) and making it symmetrical. Then I don't have to talk to everyone I know about the swan lake theme (even though I think it's beautiful) because they won't see... ya know. A wing. I don't know though. We'll see.
